WHITEBLOOD SAYS: Although
he's not gonna knock Kewell out of the Leeds team,
I have to say I'm surprised no-one wants him like
Bolton or someone because he's certainly a steady
winger who lets not forget when playing first
team football as always been in and around the
England squad! Sept 2002
THE SQUARE BALL SAYS: His
days at Leeds are limited now. He did a good service
for the club for the time he was needed but it
is unlikely he will feature much now. A sale could
help the books. Aug 2002
THE SQUARE BALL SAYS: He
was languishing in the Blackburn reserves in Division
One. Now he is setting the Premiership alight
playing for us. No doubt about it, DO'L has rescued
him but he seems to have a super attitude and
seems to be revelling in his kick-started career,
and beginning to feature for England again. I
bet he can't believe his luck! Aug 2000
RICHARD (DEVOUT LEEDS IN EXILE)
SAYS: DO'L spotted a good one here, and if
he can establish himself in the England side,
will be back to his very best soon. Already delivering
good returns for the paltry £3 Million. Will help
'the babes' (© DO'L) develop. A very good addition
to LUFC. Aug 2000
BUI SAYS: Well, I think he
looks like nicolas cage, doesn't he? May 2000
KENYAN BOB SAYS: I saw Wilcox
play against Coventry on Sunday and he was in
bloody fine form, richly deserving the goal. However,
in order to progress as a player he must improve
his shooting ability and the delivery of the final
ball. He has pace and can beat men but need to
improve the crosses. March 2000
LOBSTER SAYS: From what I
have seen he was a little unfortuante to grab
an England spot however the words Keegan has used
makes me think that he's done enough to secure
a more permanent spot if only for Euro 2000. Mar
2000
BENANARAMA SAYS: Why does
everyone say England have a left-sided midfield
crisis? The answer is surely here! Wilcox has
impressed me. Feb 2000
BIG BOY SAYS: Wilcox needs
to improve his consistency throughout the match.
He drifts in and out at times. Feb 2000
JIMMY (LEEDS FOREVER) SAYS:
This player is a great buy. For only 3 million
we have got a player who has championship experience
with Blackburn and a player who is a great crosser
of the ball. I think Kewell and Bridges should
play up front with Wilcox on the left. Such a
good player should be a regular. Jan 2000
ROB BROOKSBANK SAYS: Excellent
on the wing in the championship season for Blackburn
and should provide quality cover for Harry Kewell.

THE SQUARE BALL SAYS: At
28 years of age, Jason Wilcox should be reaching
the peak of his career. He's already played for
England a couple times and hopefully he can reproduce
that kind of form at Leeds and regain a place
in this current drab and devoid-of-life England
side. A quality player and hopefully his presence
will keep the rest of the squad on their toes.
The change of club from Blackburn should do him
good and with a bit of luck, £3 million
will look an absolute bargain in a couple of years.
