ED SMITH SAYS: What can i
say? David Batty. DAVID FCUKING BATTY! this man
is class. he represents everything that leeds
united SHOULD be associated with. He is skilful,
when he needs to be, he can play the simple game,
he can pass, tackle, scare the shit out of most
players in the premiership, he is in my opinion
one of our most valuable players, obvioulsy behind
people like Rio etc. If only it wasnt for that
think twat wilkinson then we'd of kept batts for
the best part of his career. Hes leeds through
and through. He has the happiest of mediums between
energetic youthfulness and wise experience. People
such as Lee Bowyer, Danny Mills, Alan Smith need
to follow Batts' lead and follow his example.
He is not soft, he never backs out of challenges,
if somebody hits him he WOULD it them back, BUT
he does not go around getting silly sendings off,
fair play he gets his fair share of bookings,
but how often do we find ourselves short of david
batty in midfield due to suspension? Alo! ng!
with all his fans he does however have many critics.
As far as i know he has only scored about 4/5
goals for leeds in all the years he has been here.
This is the minorest of problems for batts. It
is NOT his job to shoot, it is not his job to
attack, it is not his job to score. Take people
like Olivier Dacort for example, in his two year
stint so far at leeds he has only netted twice
or three times, this is a player people consider
a midfielder but an attacking midfielder, now
it is not HIS job to score either, but you do
not hear people getting on his back. No offence
to Olly, but Batts takes more than his fair share
of stick for the leeds midfield. Now as far as
i know, Batts plans to see out his career at elland
road. Dave, lets make these last few years good
ones, keep up the good work m8 and enjoy life!.

LEE SAYS: well what can i
say about batts to me he is one of the most under
rated plyers in the last 15 to 20 years hes skillful
but just plays the game simple hes got the heart
for a battle when it gets physical youy won't
find him hiding from it that is why alot of leeds
fans love him and i think fans of the other two
clubs he played for appreciated him in that way

he got the ball.because i've only watch it live

When you have payers of the calibre of Batts returning,
it is like making a top signing. Everyone points
to Harry Kewell and say that his return helped
us (and it did) but Batts brought us the steel
that nearly launched us back into the CL I cannot

TOP STEVE SAYS: Batts is
getting stronger game by game in my opinion, regularly
completeing full matches and is by no means a
weak link in the side, I am really impressed by
him and think he has a few more years at the top
left, all of which will be with Leeds. Feb
